No matter what service or product you are associated with, the marketing campaign should suggest or encourage the target audience to imagine, which is in essence, “inviting them to take ownership of the product or service being sold – to make it their own.”
Knowing how much information to say is a balancing act. Saying too much undermines the imagination process – it becomes a spoon fed analogy like watching television or a movie. Saying too little does not give the audience enough information to put a picture together in their mind.
Allowing someone to imagine, is taking away all boundaries that separate people according to gender, class, age, religion, political affiliation, etc.
Imagination brings complex topics into simple terms because the one imagining brings it into their world for complete understanding.
